Our Service is designed for students of all ages. If you are under 18, you may use the Service, but any financial transactions or binding agreements (such as booking a PG or tiffin service) must be made with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

3. User Content & Listings

You may upload or create content (such as room listings, roommate profiles, or reviews) using our Service. By uploading or creating content, you agree that:

• You own or have permission to use and share the content.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content as part of our Service.
• You are responsible for the content you upload, and it must not violate any laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or be harmful, offensive, or misleading.

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content we believe violates these Terms.

4. Purchases & Bookings

We may offer goods, services, and subscriptions through the Service. By making a purchase or booking, you agree to:

• Pay the price listed at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes.
• Accept that all sales are final, except where refunds are required by law or specified in our refund policy or the specific service provider's policy.
• Understand that subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you've violated these Terms or any applicable laws. If we do, you will no longer have access to the Service or your account, and your right to use the Service will end immediately.

If you want to terminate your account, you can do so by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will stop immediately, but these Terms will still apply to any past use of the Service.

7. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniBase and its affiliates will not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (like lost profits, data loss, or personal injury).
• Any amount greater than what you paid us in the past 12 months or ₹8,000, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations on liability, so this may not apply to you.

Our Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no guarantees that the Service will meet your needs, be uninterrupted, or error-free. Use the Service at your own risk. We are a discovery platform and are not directly responsible for the quality of the physical rooms, roommates, or food provided by third parties listed on the app.

Our Service may include links to other websites or services we don't own or control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party websites. If you leave our Service to visit a third-party site, you do so at your own risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you have any issues or disputes with the Service, please contact us first to try to resolve it informally. If we can't resolve the issue, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by law. Arbitration will take place in India.
